Eyebrow Piercing?

I've never been one to really do ANYTHING for looks, honestly, I'm the guy who just goes to walmart and buys clothes that fit and don't really care about anything like that. My usual outfit include: Running shoes, jeans, one plain coloured/band t-shirt (year round, always the same).

I figured maybe I should change that, give myself a new look or something, give 'fashion' a go. So I bought some different jeans (tighter, not faggy skinny jeans, still normal, just darker and tighter then usual, still comfy though), some shirts with things on them (not like dragon shirts, but some shirts with stripes, and things like that, they actually look good, better then the usual plain red, plain black, plain grey, etc), and I bought a new pair of running shoes.. I'm not changing my shoes to a different type, running shoes kick ass, so **** that. I bought a Rush belt buckle too (Snakes and Arrows one) (I normally don't wear belt buckles either). I don't know if this matters, but I'm going to get a tattoo, but it'll be on my back so not much people will see that, it's a personal thing I'm getting. Not something that 'OMG IS SO COOL'. Also I'll be getting glasses soon (my vision isn't what it used to be ) Probably just frameless square ones. But tehy won't obstruct the piercing because I don't have to wear them often, just when I drive and things like that.

So onto the topic here (I'm going to be waiting for the comments, oh boy I can't wait to see what yous say, especially ZT), should I get an eyebrow piercing?

If you want to go out more, and feel frequently under-dressed when you do, then sure, go ahead. I recommend finding some good second-hand/thrift stores near you, and loading up on stuff. Although most of it might be dated and gross, there're some items of clothing that don't really go out of fashion, and you'll for sure be able to pick up something cheap and interesting.

My whole family has amazing beards (my dads side), like they are epic and thick and perfect, thing is I've talked to my dad and uncles and they said they couldn't start growing till they were like 25... It sucks, I can sort of grow one, but it's just not right so I shave, and when the time is right.. SOUL PATCH.

If you want one, get it. You can always take it out. The annoying thing about Eyebrow piercings is that they take a while to heal and have a tendency to grow out. Oh, and if you stretch it it's painful as hell.

I have five eyebrow piercings and I don't regret getting them. However, I got them because it just felt right, not because I wanted to change my looks. If it's really just about the looks and you aren't into body mods, you may want to experiment with clothes, hairdo, hair dye, and maybe even make up first and see if maybe that's enough for you.
Remember that an eyebrow piercing is right in your face. There's some reasons why you might not want to get your first piercing there, so maybe first get a piercing in a place that is not as easily visible (eg a helix one, though these can be a bitch to heal, especially if you usually sleep on your side) to see what it looks and feels like.

As others mentioned before, piercings do leave scars. If that bothers you, you may want to re-think this. The initial pain and general feeling of the process, including the healing, can be quite addicting, if you definitely only want one piercing and not more, watch out for this. Also, eyebrow piercings essentially are surface piercings. Surface piercings easily get infected, grow out, and can on the whole be very troublesome. Swollen eyebrows may not compute with your self image and make you hate the piercing / yourself ;D

But whatever.
If you're convinced it's the right thing for you, go for it and don't listen to people who tell you you're going to regret it some day. Just make sure to read up on health issue beforehand - maybe ask at a place dedicated to body mods, not on a gaming site.

I'm thinking of getting the top of my ear done. You can always take it out if you don't like it, you'll be down $30 but if you can afford it then who the hell cares... will make a good story for your kids.

As for the clothes. I have like 3 pieces of good clothing that I really spent money on, the rest is cheap crap that I wear day to day. It's an awesome way to live
