F.E.A.R mp MOVIE!!!

edit: nothing that special, the animation was bad, the textures where bad (not that the quality in the movie was bad, but ive seen the other screenshots) and it just looks like another fast paced deathmatch with some flying kicks that everyone will be doing nonstop.

the particles are nice though.

i guess im going to have to stop buying games :D
 
I'm quite interested in this game but I missed the beta, so I think I'll watch this tomorrow and tell you what I think. The SP movie was certainly quite impressive.

Exactly, the game is far too fast for my liking, the teaser video, the one with the girl, hyped it up as a tactical shooter or something like Halflife2, i really hope that it is just the multiplayer that is giving it a bad impression.
 
I didn't find the mp to be anything special honestly.

Have'nt watched it yet but its not like it has much competition in the FPS MP world...just about everything sucks (yes - including HL2 tbh).

I'm really excited about this games SP though.

Looks too frantic imo.
Crazy close-quarter battles and the like, are a little TOO nuts for my taste.
Meh.
 
Looks pretty cool, the grapics are certainly excellent.

I'm more hyped for the SP though.
 
Saw this awhile ago on fileplanet, looks fun, never did get into the beta.

its to mutch, to graphically, to confusing, to mutch useless graphical gimmicks that don't enhance the gameplay, srry can't say I like it.

I'm playing in the MP beta right now, and I'm not all that impressed. It doesn't look any better than the other high end games on the shelves. It doesn't play any different. It's very fast paced, and requires a ton of horse power right now to run it anywhere near a solid 30-60fps. So far it's just "eh". Nothing stands out as a selling point. Just more of the same in my opinion.

I've seen the video before but it's good stuff :)

I've thrown on the slowmo before when someone's jump kicking at me. I usually use the assault rifle so i just unloaded a few bullets into his head. I'm really excited for the SP.
 
I cant wait for the whole game mp and sp. Its going to be one of the best of 2005.
 
Game is awesome guys, im in the beta, its just great. Im trying to get pictures working in the other thread.

"The Specialists" mod for hl1 had that, plus dives, wall jumping, commando rolls and a whole heap of other stunt jumps/moves + particle effects.
