You really have to watch the full length movie before making this type of conclusion. Screenies rarely do games justice. You can find a streaming version at gamespot.

The game looks like combat will have some depth unlike Doom 3. Not to mention fighting a para-military force is much more appealing than some lame monsters.

It reminded me of Doom III or FarCry, but IMO it looks like and by what i've read it'll be a Doom III killer. Even though it has some rips off of The Ring, the story sounds interesting.

After watching those videos again, I must admit it just looks like another Doom 3 but in a different setting.

Doom 3 has pretty ridiculous A.I.

In fact, neither did HL2 or Halo 2 had mindblowing enemy A.I. Shame on all these developers!

The A.I. in FEAR seems pretty good though, especially those things that hide and attack (in green).

Although yeah, with games like Doom 3 and HL2 in the market, the graphics in FEAR looks rather cartoony for some reason, especially that black male hiding behind the box. I guess, it's due to lack of wrinkles and other details we have come to see in most next gen games.
