Yes, I'm a realism junkie.
There are many games that allow you to get rid of the crosshair altogether. Try America's Army. With the crosshairs, easy as shit, without them, you have to be very quick. :D
On Topic: This game appeals only slightly. I liked how it looked in the beginning, but now... no. :(

Anyway, this game never looked over-special to me, much more interested in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Go play Red Orchestra the mod for UT2004. It's SURE to win the Make Something Unreal Contest. No crosshairs, totally awesome.

Don't worry, I'm an addict.
But it's still a mod, not a game ;)
Try America's Army.
Have, hate it. :-\

Game looks mint...the trailers gave me the creeps and looks like it will be more of a physchological scare as apposed to the standard 'boo' scare.

I don't know about it taking FPS of the year though...it will be one of the best games of 2005 for sure but i've still got this feeling that STALKER will be the best FPS ever made, if they can make it work like they want to and it isn't released buggy.

They won't have crosshairs in the trailers because its a...trailer. Same as HL2 didn't have crosshairs in its trailers. They probably just had a little sticker on the screen where the crosshair should be.
