Rofl, i love it when people say its a noob gun, ok, 9/10 times it kills with 1 shot, but you still gotta aim, and its a lot slower then it used to be because of that quick weapon switching then scoping thingy they sorted months ago, either way, i feel as though no gun is a noob gun, all about the way you use them more then anything, plus, no point in moaning about awpers as they are piss easy to kill if you can aim

awww, but thats the fun part... On a pub if i bought an awp i'd use the deagle commonly and then use the awp to pick off people from long distances, but never stay in the same place for more then 10 secs, camping on pubs is just boring :/

...it's actually written into the source code that the player who picks up and uses the AWP automatically has their experience level set to 1, ergo, they are a noob. That's how they balance the game! :rolling:

no, really...i mean if the person is hacking, thats a different story altogether but its rather annoying when people complain about others using an AWP or an Autosniper.

seriously...if it ticks u off that much, save up and buy one and try ur luck that way.
maybe the only time i'd ever complain was if the score was insanely lopsided and people still used AWP's or whatever weapon over and over despite winning pretty much every round.

i stick with a gun usually and if i see that the score is so lopsided in my favour, i try to switch it up with other guns etc..
its a challenge and fun at that.

AWP's are rather hard to use, if you don't know your way around. You can be easily flanked, amoung other things. Also, there's a TON of ways around an AWPer: flashes, flanking, backup and there's always another way around.

Well that really depends.

The AWP, when you've got maybe one assigned person on your team using it, takes allot of skill.

Like say, in an organized teamworking game, you have one man assigned to sniper, and he lays back and picks off what the squad doesn't get, then it takes SOME skill. Moreso teamwork (have proper backup) than physical.

When you've got two people on your team using one, then it's an all out n00b fest.

When there are more than 3 AWPs on a server, I leave. It's a ridiculous battle to fight, pistols vs 1 hit rifles. So ridiculous that I suggest everyone else on my team leaves to piss them off.
