Hi
I started this group on facebook "Not buying anything on Steam until Half Life 2 Episode 3 comes out!". I wondering how many people will accept this idea. The purpose of this group is not to harm VALVE in any way, but to encourage VALVE to release HL-2 E3 faster.
Please join this group, I feel that if a lot of people will join this group it might help to VALVE to work on this game better and more importantly faster.
Forward to your friends please ;)

thanks ahead :)

They see me trollin...

I guess you don't like the idea... why ?

It stinks of entitlement. It would be akin protesting outside an Apple store until they release the next iPhone.
Personally, I hope they spend 50 years developing the game. However long they take, it will likely be shit-your-pants awesome.

These are the guys that brought us great series like Half Life and Portal. Why would you not trust them to take the time required to produce a game that is worthy of the series?

I can't help thinking that you would be better off being a fan of Call of Duty or something.

The only thing your group might do is serve as an embarrassment to you when nobody joins it, and everyone continues to buy Valve's great games. Anyone that has the low intelligence requirement to at least register for Facebook will also likely realise that your proposition is fundamentally flawwed and reject it instantly (once they have stopped laughing).

Ha. No. The next Half-Life will be great when it comes out but in the mean time there's plenty of stuff to occupy me.

You right... was a bad idea. I deleted it.

Now I feel bad because you took my comments to heart.

I appreciate the underlying sentiment dude, you really want HL3. Just kick back and play all of the awesome games that are coming out right now. I've honestly never been so spoiled for choice, I haven't a clue which AAA game to play first...

Just remember that trying to hurt their sales (which wouldn't happen) would threaten their very existence, let alone HL3. How could you do that to Gabe?!

Just imagine how awesome HL3 (/ Episode 3 / scrawny scientist beats up marines 3 / whatever it's going to be called) will be. We don't really have a right to demand the game from them, it's like me demanding that Coldplay release their album right now.

Valve are artists. For the love of god, let them art.
