Hey Jones, could you please just explain one thing. Just how you got your own sounds to work without the "Last Extraction: an error occured during extraction." error?

You need to download the microsoft speech sdk 5.1 for the phenome extraction to work....

In your mod directory, create a folder called sound at the root and put your sounds in there. Check out this screenshot...

To get your choreography in the scene you have to use the entity logic_choreographed_scene. You also want to be sure to save your choreographed scene in a folder called scenes at the root of your mod directory....modname\scenes\yourscene.vcd

see the screenshots for details...

Then you just have to setup a trigger to start the scene...

In my scene I used barneys entity as a trigger. When he hears the player, the scene begins.

I'm not sure you could do it without creating a mod? I might be wrong. But you would have to be able to edit the default HL2 maps in hammer so you could trigger your custom events...
