I said the difference in culture between Spain and Frence or any two other countries in Europe is nothing like the differnce in culture between any two states in the US. I know this as a fact as I have visited many countries in Europe, both country side parts and city areas. The people are so much more different.

California is way different from Texas or even Oklahoma. Seinfeldrules' description is accurate.

Anyone from Nebraska who visits New York city is going to experience culture shock and vise versa.

oh come on, I've been from new york to south carolina and back, not once did I get culture shock ...drive through, let's see how far your command of the english language takes you

But have you ever been to the midwest? It is alot different than the east coast.

Have Any Of You Ever Been To More Than One Counrty In Europe? Or Even Out Of The U.s.?

Are you kidding? I've made the same drive and the change is definitely noticeable. The further you travel south the less urban it becomes. Going into towns you can immediately notice a difference in the way people act, speak etc. There is a whole different menality between areas of the country. The recent election proved this. Another strong determent to traveling abroad is we actually have to travel overseas, its not like driving 500 miles to reach another country, like you see in Europe. Driving from France to Germany isnt a big deal at all when compared to flying from Oaklahoma to Germany.

I was only in Spain and Germany for a day or so each, just got to hand out at a bar for a little while. I still been there, though!

Cool, Ive toured around both countries traveling around the country side from city to city and town to town.
