Hey guys, I new to Half-life 2.net and I signed up cause I wanted to stay in contact with the valve community. But I have a major problem, whenever I load up steam it gives me the message fatal error: failure to launch platform modules.I have attempted every solution on the steam support page and I have even tried to re-install steam. So far nothing has worked and it is really starting to get to my nerves. If anybody has any advice or possible solutions please put em up. Please help!

I tried to re-install steam from the download site
and I also tried deleting everything in the folder except steam.exe and steamapps folder, nothing.
