The fact that the emails were sent at 9pm is no indication that they are anything but genuine. News sites like shacknews are well aware of what time the email was sent, and they are well aware of the possibility that an email can be faked, yet they assured us that it is valid beyond any doubt.

Thats enough for me, and it really seems as if most of you simply cant come to terms with reality.

its true, it is delayed, and i guess we'll all have to be patient and wait for next release, which sux big nads, cause this whole count down thing got my stoked. Its like watching a new years count down going "5,4,3,2,3,4,5,6,7..... the f*ck?"

Yeah if they had done this in the middle of the afternoon the company would be dealing with phone calls, hate mails, etc pooring in. This way it's reduced by a large margin.

I can easily see Valve as a very smart company, but it's in a very cold calculating way.
