Willow: "Aren't you too young to be a bartender?"
Xander: "Au contraire, mon frere."
Buffy: "'Mon frere' means 'brother.'"
Xander: "Mon... girl-frere. Behold!" (Holds out new fake ID.)
Willow: "I don't believe this is entirely on the up-and-up."
Xander: "What gives it away?"
Willow: "Lookin' at it."

I'm old enough not to have to care, but I appreciate the plight of those who believe they have to. Especially when they get tossed out on thier ass screaming "whaddaya mean, I really AM [insert age, nationality, whatever]!"

Don't bother with them, us bar staff can see them a mile off. A guy came up to me with a fake ID and I even managed to guess the website he got it from. Served him a vodka and coke in the end (on the condition that he left straight after that and didn't come back) because he was honest about it being fake and showed me his real drivers ID (he was about 3 weeks off of being 18).

Your best bet is a out of date NUS card that kinda looks like you. Ask anyone you know who's at uni or got an older brother at uni. Ask at the end of term and offer free beer to sweeten the deal. But if you *really* need a fake ID your to young to do whatever it is.

Hell yes. The government gave us 'Connexions Cards' with our DOBs.

Mine says 26th July 1985 :)

Now what I did was very illegal, and fraud, and I don't advise anyone else to take my course of action:

They asked me my DOB, and I said 85 instead of 87 :)

They never checked it, and now I'm down on a Government Database as 18 :P

Oops ;)

I'm thinking of getting a fake id saying I'm 16. I had so much more fun when I was 16 than when I'm 20.

lol

I was realding and im like wtf... i thought you were older... then i finished reading.

i HAVE used a fake identity in the past, so i voted yes. but i don't anymore.

What i did was scan my bus ID into my PC, then edit it so it displayed a date of birth that said i was 1 year older, and then i printed it off, took my old bus ID photo and glued it on, then got my mum to laminate it. then i used it to go and see the matrix revolutions with my freinds :) They actually stared at if for about 30 seconds when i showed it to them.... then they called he manager over and he allowed it... and that happened the other 2 times i went to see a 15 as well. The thing is, i didn't find out how illegal it was until i was 15... guess i was lucky :P

the annoying thing is, despite the fact that i'm 15, in certain places i stil actually need to use an ID card because idon't look my age :( although the last time that happened was a few months ago, so maybe i've grown :D

OMG! THAT WAS CLOSE!¬!!

omg you coulda got thrown in jail!!!!

even if they found out i doubt they would have phoned the police :| it's not like i'm doing anything wrong- i'm not buying alcohol underage or anything, i'm going to the cinema with my freinds! Plus it's not like the age on the card could have given acess to anything like that ANYWAY, unless you count a 14 year old watching the matrix an offence :O

I did say could have been which he well could if he'd some something major. The age rating on films are more of a guideline, and I believe that with a parent or guardian you can see any film you like if they want to let you. You personally can't pay for it if you are underage though.

I live in belgium and we can do everything legal where you americans need an ID for. Like drinking going in clubs or whatever ( im 17 )

yea, probally.

I'm normally a very law abiding citizen- because i'm scared of the combine. The only illegal things i have ever done are:

>stolen 5 penny sweets (seriously, i felt guilty)
>made a fake bus ID
>sat in the front of the car when i was 8 (i think that's illegal, anyway)
>Had sat in the back of a car with 3 other people, when there were only 3 seats
>rode my bike on the pavement to town
>errr...
>probally other stuff too

Heh...I ride my bike on the pavement, and nobody cares. Except those old women, but they don't complain for long after I knock 'em down and ride over them a couple of times.

I tihnk you have to be 13 to sit in the front of a car, because that is the age where people are on average the right height.

I don't think I could ever use one in the first place. I am now 14 years old, if I want to watch a 16 rating film in the Netherlands, the rating system is pretty odd. For instance "Not another Teen Movie" in America Rated R for strong crude sexual content and humor, language and some drug content. Netherlands rated 12, as was "40 Days and 40 Nights" "Alien³" "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" which were all rated R in America.

Then the Netherlands gives movies like "The Ring" and "forgotten" 16 ratings for the vague category of scariness. (here is the ratings board website in English http://www.kijkwijzer.nl/engels/ekijkwijzer.html)

Now all movies in the Netherlands with the rating of 16 are treated like a NC-17 movie in America, nobody allowed in, even with parental guidance. Sometimes they check sometimes not.

It can be very frustrating

watch the forgotten, watched it yesterday, good movie :p

Well I wouldn't know, they didn't let me in. Even though it is a pg-13 in america, it is a 16 here.

If I go with friends who look old enough and just mingle with the crowd, I manage to get in. This time they just refused to let anybody in without proof of ID.

u cud just book tickets online, go there, enter reference number, print them in, and just go in, thats what do for my friends who are 14 and watched blade trinity (15)

The risk with that is that the ticket ripper guys don't let you in. They are pretty damn strict, if the movie is new, than they even have people at the screen itself checking!

just admit your wrong and that im right

am i right? the answer is yes

You're not really a very endearing person are you. What I said was perfectly ok, and you're just trying to prove yourself somehow. I really couldn't care less if you were right or not. I also don't think you're worth arguing with since all you seem to want to do on this forum most of the time is satisfy your ego.

I felt that the Forgotten redefined the word "Entertaining".

Entertaining (adj)

Not Entertaining.

I had a really awesomely good fake ID when I was in highschool.

Now I'm old enough not to need one.

i dont use fake ids

but i remeber in downtown la some hispanic dude came up to me and asked "chalupas or id"

i was laughin so hard after that happened because chalupas have nothing to do with fake ids. i mean he could have at least sold chalupas with tacos, but he didn't :/
