So I have all of the Fallout 3 contents and recently picked it up and started playing a new game. When I went to the Steelyard in The Pitt, however, a section of the map vital to a side quest isn't "there". I walk and walk and the rooftop appears to be there but I end up falling through the roof to my death.

I tried to re-download the content and restart the game but it didn't work, the same map section does nothing more then all my character to fall to his death.

Anybody know if theres a way to fix this?

Bethesda's DLCs are extremely buggy. Can you post a picture of the area?

Since its on the 360 I can't (unless lousy quality is preferred) but its towards the top of the map, where the wildmen have a base set up, there is a catwalk along the pipes. At a certain point, the pipe and catwalk give out.

Yea I've played it before and most of the map works, its just that I can't reach the remaining ingets at the top because of the bug. Would fully removing the DLC and then reinstalling it help?

I guess it's your only choice seeing how you can't mod your Xbox 360. I had a similar problem at the beginning of The Pitt. You can change anything you want with GECK Editor on PC. :)

/fixed

I have FO 3 and all it's expansions too. The only thing I can recommend not only with FO 3, but with any of Bethesda's games for that matter, is to have a ton of saves and reload an earlier one.

Great game, I'd just wish Bethesda's QA team and programmers were more competent. Or at least allow for more time to work out bugs instead of releasing the alpha test version so they can meet deadlines.

I was literally typing the correction that Dr. Demento just made, when I noticed he'd got there first.

I got Fallout 3 on the PC, only to find that despite my i5-750, 4GB of RAM and NVIDIA GTX 260, the controls to the game feel almost completely disconnected to the action that's happening on the screen. I go to the forums, and find that their technical support is pretty much non-existant. So got a game which is making a nice coaster right now.
