Don't Worry guys, This is a healthy change. WhY? Well, being an avid Fallout Fan myself i really didn't like Fallout: Tactics. It also betrayed the open freedom of playing through the wasteland. This is good change because it gives the dev time to play with new combat systems and things to that nature. This is only a pre-Fallout. Its to boost the hype and $$ so put into another fallout. I dont know what its called or anything but this way.
The way this plays in to the future fallouts is that now that they have practive with the new Havok systems graphic interfaces, new modeling progg and animation they can make a true Fallout game that will be exactly like the origional yet even better, becaues they have practice and can make the new one with intense combat and Depth dialouge. Heck i wouldnt even mind if they ripped half the dialouge from the origional. It was great and i know after this they will make
Fallout: Survival or Fallout: Chap.1
This is so cool!! I really didnt like the fallout combat system, i am a fsp fan but the storyline and the activity was the best i have ever seen and is only matched by Morrowind. Although morrowinds combat was total crap

Hell they might even buy source to build upon!! Now wouldn't that be great!! Instead of only seeing the faces of special npc's u get to see them all!!! And everyone will be different too becuase of source capability!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG *creams pants

They could make it MMORPG with twitch gameplay. So the only thing level dicates is what weapons and quests u can do.
If they made it twitch only then the game would be so much about item hunting but exploring and things. Heard of EQ2? Think about something like that with Half-life combat and Fallout's plot. It would great, go find parts from npc raiders. Build a cruzer like the one in the buggy movie. Get a bunch of u friend and go Driving around the wastes. Maybe help a Brahman drive to two. Maybe join the Broother hood of steel get some power armor. Crooze over to the hole, (The big radiated hole where it looks like a nuke went off) find some tech to add the the car. Have a drink or two in the hole. Meet tandy back in the day when it was still shady sands. It would be a lot of fun. It can just imagine................
