Fallout New Vegas companions list

I've spoiled several games for myself recently, including Mafia 2, so gonna try to practice self-restraint and not click the link.

I bet there's a Zombie Elvis in there somewhere.

I also won't be clicking the link.

You think those will be all there is? Some looks pretty cool... But they're no Vic I can tell you that.

Lily seems to be a very Torment-esque character.

They're still leagues better than FO3's one dimensional characters.

K9 looks nothing like I wanted, but still nice.

Nice variety there. Looking forward to this. :)

you've played Fallout New Vegas? you must have. how else would you know the companions arent as one dimensional as those on fo3

Let's see: they have an effect on the gameplay other than being another bipedal gun, have a solid backstory and every character has a questline related to him/her that ties in with their story.

This alone makes them far more complex than Fallout 3, whose companions, face it, could've been all replaced with floating gunbots and you wouldn't notice the difference.

I'm pretty sure there was an actual floating gunbot, too.

Looks like a pretty good set of companions, should add some replay value and it'll be fun to tweak the squad around usefulness & morality. The second part seems rather greyish for most of these characters as well, which is a nice change from the straight down the middle good/bad of FO3.

Maybe they're just exceptionally well written, but the character descriptions in that link already give them way more personality than The Overseer (oppressive dictator #1457) or Elder Lyons ("I disobey the rules to save lives").

Obsidian has yet to let me down severely in the story department.
