Fallout

I've heard that fallout out 1 and 2 were great games so I was thinking about buying them. I downloaded the fallout demo to check the game out and it wouldn't run. Does anyone know if it won't run because I have XP? If it doesn't run with XP is there a patch I can get somewhere once I buy the game to make it work?

OMG!!!1 COINIECDENCE!!1 *ahem* I'm playing Fallout 1 too at the moment, and it runs fine on win98SE. You might want to try Win98 compatibility mode in XP, though I don't know where that setting is :|

It's quite cool once you get past the stone age graphics

lol, I'm playing Fallout 1 at the moment.

I'm using winXP and it runs fine for me, maybe try getting the 1.1 patch ?

To change the compatability mode, right click the .exe file, go to properties, compatability tab at the top. Should be simple enough from there
