Is it just me or is Family Guy Just alot of crude stuff. Why can't it be like the Simpsons.

Because its not the Simpsons? I won't watch Family Guy as a substitute for the Simpsons and I won't watch the Simpsons as a stubstitute for Family Guy. They are two very different shows.

I'm glad it's not the Simpsons...right now the Simpsons sucks hardcore. That show should just die already. It has had its run.

It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on tv!
But were all good friends and value! On wich we used to reley! Peter is a family guy dun dun dun! dumdeedum deedum and laff and cry! He's-A-FAM-LY GUUUUY DYN DUN DUN BUMP!

Simpsons are boring and just not funny any more, they're trying too hard nowa' days and it's sad. Family Guy > *

But where are those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely? Lucky there's a family guy! Lucky there's a man who absolutely can do all the things that make us laugh and cry. He's-A-FAM-LY GUUUUY DYN DUN DUN BUMP!
I think that's correct.

And of course I expect everyone here to know what that opening parodies.

Gawd i love Family Guy i got all the DVDs!

Family guy is frickin (heh) hilarious. i gt all the dvds i just can;t get enough of it. as for the simpsons....i used to like them but now they;ve just grown old and run out of ideas.

I still like South Park better than both.

South Park strikes the perfect balance of social commentary, absurdism, and good ol' dick and fart jokes.

Plus, I find the plotlines in South Park to be much more internally consistent than Family Guy. (i.e. No cheap cutting away randomly for an easy joke completely unconnected to plot.)

futurama is my fav these days,i only watch tthe older simpsons episodes, classics like when homer went into space  ,such a great episode

Oh man that one was hilarious - the planets "overlord" really being a 30 yr old who still lives with his mom lol

Family Guy is my favourite, glad they ressurected it for this year. Something to do with its DVD popularity.

Great humour.

Like Futurama too, shame it was cancelled.

Like the Simpson's new episodes, mainly because they're so surreal. Better than the old 'normal' ones.

Yeppers. That's why petitions to get cancelled shows back on the air never work.

You have to get studio's attention with the one thing they'll hear: your wallet.

I find the simpsons really boring after i have watched family guy and south park, there is no depth in the simpsons, tbh its frigging boring as hell.

"the mysroty box could be any thing, it could even be a boat, you know how much we have always wanted a boat" :)

I'd rather watch Simpsons with my family, but when I'm with friends and other people just as messed up as me then I'm definitly going to laught at Family Guy or Futurama more.

I am in love with the simpsons but the last 2 years werent very good but this year seems to be doing very well...also I LOVE family guy, not as much as simpsons but close but they are 2 dif shows
as for futurama there was talk of it being brought back but not quite sure on the details and the life span of family guy (now) depends on DVD sales not so much the ratings so BUY BUY BUY!!

I'm betting as long as the show is up to par with the last 3 seasons...it'll have a nice run. Not only did Family Guy have over 2 million dvd sets sold...but it's got top ratings on Adult Swim and solid ratings on TBS. Hell...even FOX has aired a few episodes in light of the show's revival.

Now our job is to watch Family Guy :p

Yes i saw an episode of the new family guy it had me cracking up! (I know people)

family guy is ace...

simpsons has now gone downhill-quite quickly too...

Family Guy. I haven't seen ANY of the newer Simpsons series', those ones that were being shown on Sky on Sundays, 'cause I don't have Sky or any of those fancy channels. So I have to stick with the 'new'* episodes on BBC2 for Simpsons.

*New being about 3 years behind the real new episodes.

You, sir, are a god amongst men. And I must have it.

Seriously, how'd you come across it?
