Fanfic >> movie

I had this idea, as a few others have (I did come up with this idea myself but I can not take credit for this as I am not the first.)

A few of the fan fictions are quite capable of being put into HL 'movies' filmed in the game itself.

If you ever saw any quakeII-films, you know what I mean. Many of theses stories use standard characters, environments, enemies and weapons. Some will have to wait for HL2 enemies and weapons.

Most of the work for these would be in the scene designing, as converting scenes from a story to scenes in HL can be challenging at some points.

Tell me what you guys think.

I always thought that Half Life cinematics would be awesome, and if I ever made a mod, it would be in there. I'd help if you'd like.

I know I'm not the first, but it's just that some of the fan fics will work so well.
Problem is, I have no clue how to make these 'machinima'.

I imagine all actions are done through scripted events, right? Well, If someone wants to help put it to 'film' the only thing I could do is negotiate story>>> movie translation.

And HL2 willbe great for faces. Imagine... Alyx's shocked look "Gordon don't touch me there!"....

Ack, does that multiplayer thing really work? I mean, having scripts would be more complicated, but be much more interesting...

Anyway, I always wanted to make a "cinematics" scene in Half Life, much like many other games. Has it been confirmed that HL2 will have similar things?(sorry, don't keep up on HL2 so much... I figure I'll find out when it comes out [if ever]).
