I've a crazy, related idea: instead of banning trolls/attention seekers, just make their threads invisible to everyone but them, and fake a load of views over time. That way we aren't bothered by them, and they get to think people are reading their shit.

Nothin' wrong with that, it's a good thing (competition drives down prices = better for the consumer) but just to show you there is.

Yeah, I like the mods too, they do their job very well, and they contribute to the atmosphere of the forum alot.

Ok due to popular support against the idea I proposed, how about we make a piece of legislation (by popular vote) and narrow it down according to what everyone wants (like The EU Constitution) for ideas on a new forum!

I know where to start:
A political forum, moderated just as much as the other ones, weekly competitions based on Political Essays (Dont worry they dont have to be that long) and Sticky Threads on current affairs by the mods (say a new story breaks, they make a sticky thread about it and people post their opinions on there). I would really like to see something like with the well informed members of the community discussing politics in an educated way unlike:


"OMG YOU SU><0rz insulting Bush! Drop bombs on all arabs! What about the stuff they do to our boys!!!"


This is not to say I wouldnt welcome opinions from Republicans, I just hope there are Republicans who can actually word thier thoughts without sounding like a complete idiot.

Bigun, there are plenty of other forums that have politics discussions. We just don't want them here. If it is so interesting or important to you, why not go to one of the many other existing forums where they allow this stuff.
