Far Cry 2 getting hardcore mode

The hardcore mode will affect the multiplayer side of the game primarily by the look of things, adding a new damage model that should give the game a more realistic feel, as well a method of tweaking the spawn times (though not rate) of players. All weapons will get increased damage and enemy names will now disappear when the grace period ends.

Not that anyone here really plays this game...

Not that anyone here really plays this game...

I highly enjoy the single player part of FC2. Not so much the online part though. I'd like to see a "Hardcore Mode" for the SP game, as the current hardest difficulty is a little on the easy side.

It needs it on Singleplayer, kinda sucked having to fire 20 rounds into people to kill them.

Good game though, just it needed a bit more thought.
