Far Cry 2's Dunia engine

Yeah, but it's hard to develop a FPS for the Wii... it just doesn't work. Unless you have a lightsaber in your game, a Wii game just isn't going to work.

That wasn't the main problem. AI and graphics in Vengeance were absolutely terrible.

I can just imagine installing the game now -

I click next. I'm presented with a "languages" choice, where French is included per default! (&"=/(#%)=%#"()?%#)&#%!/?=

Man, I really hope this is better optimized than Crysis. My computer cant run that beyond Medium settings :(

No. Most controls on Wii FPS's are actually really good. Even games like Red Steel. However, they fail in many other aspects. See metroid prime 3 for an FPS thats great.

That's a given. It's not a problem. If you're worried about graphics, you shouldn't be investing in a Wii.

I didn't say all FPSs are bad, it's just harder to develop a game for Wii to the same standard (not graphics, just the gameplay) as that of other consoles, which have been around far longer. It's not just the controls, it's trying to use them correctly and not over-doing or under-doing anything.

Basically, any company developing a shooter for the Wii needs to copy Metroid Prime's control scheme in order for it to be awesome.

No. That would be like everyone copying Half-Life's storyline in order for it to be awesome.
