Far Cry out on 10/21!

Just took a look at gamestop.com and far cry is headed for oct 21st. Damn talk about non stop gaming for these next couple of months eh?
Halo-tomorrow
MP2-oct 15th
FC-oct 21st
Empires: Dotmw-oct 22nd
FFXI-oct 28th
CoD-oct 29th
ut2k4-nov 11th
Dues Ex:invisible war-dec. 2nd
mchammer fighter turbo ultra omega alpha-jul 40th
HL2-????

Thats alot of gaming to do over these next 3 months. Did i miss a game?
 
I dont know how im going to have enough $$$ to shell out for HL2 when it finally comes, with all of these games.

HL2 is starting to fade away because of the delay, but once it gets closer to release again ill get fully hyped again.
 
Yea same here its gonna be insane not to mention potential mods for all of these! I wonder how many WWII mods people can make (heheheh)?
Thing that worries me that some of these will end up being a paper weight til i get around to them. Especially FFXI i dont think im gonna even get that i dont think i would have the time with all the other games.

EDIT: Ahhh not to mention World of Warcraft is gonna be comin out forgot about that one....
 
Lol, downloading will definitally be in order for some of these.
 
Unreal Tournament 2004 is the second most-wanted game on my list.
The Assault missions would really rock if it were based on the game's storyline.
Then again, the Unreal Tournament series don't really have a storyline;)

I dunno about you guys, but the released vidz of FarCry looks a bit to arcadish for my liking...
 
Man I am so sad that so many games are comeing out... I wish they could have spaced them out a bit more for us :(

FF XI looks really good, there is a benchmark for it with alittle trailer for it also. The trailer runs on ur PC tho so its looks depend upon ur pc :)
 
I remember looking at the system reqs for FFXI a while ago and the CPU was 800mhz, I was like :O:O:O:O OMGZZZZ!!!!!!!!! Now it's like eh. ;)

Ahhh man dont sweat it think of it this way. You get one game play the hell out of it til you get bored then when you go to buy the next one on your list the price would have more than likely dropped or you could get it used by then for cheaper. Im glad they are all comin out at the same time really.

Wow hopefully they are getting it out of their ass, weird thing though gamestop.com doesnt even agree with themselves on the release date.
I went to the pc page last night and it said "Far Cry comin on 10/21!"
So i type in far cry in the search and it comes up as 11/11...wtf they need to get their dates right. Argh o well im not gonna buy halo today **** that ive heard how bad it runs on everyones comp and im not even gonna try ill get something else.
 
Yea, but with FF XI I really hope they stick with the old battle system and stuff, from what I have heard from beta testers, it is really hard to powerlevel after like 20 or something... after that it takes a REALLY long time... but then again its just a beta! And omg they better have Espers or Materia.. dunno what they call it now :) I like Esper better.

Na they dont call it materia or esper :(. Ive looked at alot of the journals and read posts of beta testers over at http://www.ffxionline.com/ and it seems to depend on if you party or not. Some guy got to level 40 in a couple of days and all the beta testers were freakin out since some had been playing longer and were just reaching that level. Also they ditched the old battle system for something closer to EQs battle system.

Yup. Pre-ordered it today. Looks like a XCOM nostalgia fest minus the TBS (turn based strategy).

Besides, Halo isn't really that good (not played it MP yet) and as HL2 is delayed I need something besides CS1.6 to play. Tron 2.0 is good, but I've lost interest. :cheese:
 
I'm really looking forward to Far Cry and MP2. I hope they MP2 comes out on time. Just 2 weeks away...

Me too and then think CoD and FFXI will be 2 weeks away from that, then not too long til hl2.

Yea feburary is far away but we have all these other games to occupy us til then even if it is delayed.
 
I dont think Far cry will make a october release.

In every interview I've seen Crytek have said that it will be released in november.

Yea i guess gamestop.com has their dates mixed up on the pc page it says oct 21st then when u go to the far cry page it says nov. 11th.
