Oh deary me. Doesn't stop this guy, does he? Well, there isn't much of a Far Cry story to ruin, but if there was anyone on the face of this earth who could make something that sucks pretty bad as it is, far worse, it's the Boll.

You know, normally this would bother me, but I really can't be bothered whether he ****s up Far Cry or not. Infact, even if it's a piece of shit with no plot that gets old after the first half hour, it'll still be doing the game justice.

For a video game the plot in Far Cry is fine - shoot stuff, i'm there. But inspiration for a movie? It's not as though the franchise is large enough to cash in on either. Alone in the Dark happening all over again.

developers have no say, noobisoft own the far cry rights. I'm not sure Crytek would be happy but they couldn't do anything about it.

Emmanuelle Vaugier is a hotty, might be worth watching it just for that.

Not all, I'm one of the few that loves the game, though I will agree that the best part of the game is up untill you reach the bit with the trigens, and the worst level in the game has to be the last one with the volcano, UGH...

Also I'll openly admit that the first time I stepped outside on the beach in Far Cry I was more impressed than when I did my first play through of HL2.

They could practically lift Alone in the Darks story in use it in Far Cry, Far Cry's story isn't much better. At least we'll never see Valve selling out to a hack like Boll. (cursed it now).

Heh, I was exxagerating a bit in my post. Far Cry was a great demo and a sub-par game. It wasn't horrible, but it didn't really capture me for long. Once the novelty of roaming around a massive island wore off, it was just another corridor shooter - just with less corridors (the mission path was always very evident though).

At least we'll never see Valve selling out to a hack like Boll. (cursed it now).
