Sure it does...if boat just passed by. If that is how water will look even in a calm bay or inlet, then this is the worst example of trying to do way too much for no apparent reason other than to look cool in comparison videos :|. If there's not a good reason for the water to ripple so much (i.e. a storm or vessel), then its only included why? The answer from the devs would be, "Because we can." EDIT: Actually, I take that back, it's geometry blended with normal mapping as the water recedes into the background. ****in' sweet, very clever.
