I've always liked sweet tea... Sweet Leaf Tea is really good stuff, although it's kinda disturbing that it has so much cane sugar that it precipitates out after sitting on the store shelf a while.

Non-alcoholic:
  • Tea (Barry's gold blend with lots of milk and sugar)
  • Coke (and not that shite ye have over in England)
  • 7-Up (but not with food)

Alcoholic:
  • Jameson (have a bottle of 12-year old I'm sipping my way through right now)
  • Corona (with lime or even orange, just not lemon, I hate lemon (unless it's in 7-Up))
  • Carlsberg

If I'm in the mood for something sweet I have a screwdriver/vodka and orange.
I also had whiskey and coke for the first a few weeks ago and it was amazing.

Soda / Pop
Jones Soda ftw. FuFu Berry is like ****in nectar man.

Tea:
Barry's Green Blend
Good Earth Original

Coffee:
Anything decent, I usually do Kona or Sumatra, brewed in a french press, none of that drip coffee shit.

Beer
Newcastle
Red Hook ESB
DogFish Head 60 minute IPA
Sam Smith Nut Brown Ale
There are lots of others for when I have money, if I need cheap beer I usually spring for Yuengling or Lionshead. But yeah, beer is good.

Liquor
Jameson's my whiskey of choice. I really like Knob Creek but it's really damn expensive in my area.
Tito's Handmade Vodka - Better then most of the mainstream vodkas and it's not too expensive. It's so smooth I don't even bother to mix it sometimes.
I've been getting into Gin lately, although I haven't tried too many different brands, Bombay Sapphire is good but it's pricy

Wine
Not too well versed on wine. My parents are big into Cabernets, and they're always sampling different kinds. Most of my wine drinking has been house wine in various restaurants, and it's mostly shit. When I still lived in Greece I drank a lot of Retsina because it's so damn cheap, good to mix with Coke.

Gimme some Cider and I'll be happy.

Hell yes.

I can't stand energy drinks. I hate coffee and tea. All diet soda tastes terrible. I really like Rootbeer, particulary Barq's (though I've honestly been considering dropping soda completely). I'll chug milk, maybe some orange juice. But anyway, this is best:

I can't believe I forgot about slurpees/icees. There was this place in Austin called Slices & Ices that had frozen lemonade, cherry ice, and mocha ice (although they dropped the mocha a couple of years ago, which made me totally sad as that was my favorite). I used to frequent that place just for their ices and then get snagged into buying their (mediocre) pizza. They weren't even special ices or anything, but they were great to have during the summer.

Frozen Dr. Pepper is also really awesome.

oh god yes, Icees are amazing. I've had the first one in like 3 years just last thursday, and boy was my mouth happy. when i was 18 i'd drink one every day at work. and my lips were either always red or blue.

as teas go i love red rose, very simple tea, and any imported tea from Asia or the South Pacific is awesome. i usually add honey.

and as for last night, the screwdriver i made was delicious. i drank enough to have a heavy buzz for a few hours and since i'm a lightweight still i drink like that every 2 weeks or so and i'm good. no headaches, no sickness, i love it. i never really drink to get drunk anymore which is cool with me.

Non-alcoholic:
  • Tea (preferably Twinning's Earl Grey or English Breakfast)
  • Canada Dry
  • Coffee (fresh roasted espresso, Illy is great)

Alcoholic:
  • Jameson, Johnnie Walker, Jack Daniel's
  • Beefeater gin & tonic
  • Wine - Shiraz, Sauvignon (Jacob's Creek is excellent)

I'm not of age yet, but the first beer I fell in love with when I tried it was Leffe.

Obviously I don't drink a lot, but that beer is gorgeous...mmmmm. Best belgian beer IMO.

Leffe Blonde is favourite, but the Brune is lovely too. I haven't tried the others like triple etc.

As far as soft drinks go, its coke for me, but I like the fruity ones too. If you can (afaik you can only get it in Germany) get Mezzo-mix, its a mix of fanta and coke, but tastes like neither...which is odd.

Yeah, icees/slurpees are probably the most nostalgia soaked drink or food for me, I've been drinking them for so long. Have you ever had Rita's? I dunno how big their chain is but their italian ices are amazing.

Never tried Rita's before but checked out their website. Noticed there's one not too far, and then just realized that I saw it while on the bus a couple of days ago and thought, "Hey italian ices, I should stop by there sometime!" So I'll probably stop by within a couple of weeks. Unfortunately there's not much else to go to around there, except maybe the record store.

I can't say I'd go out of my way to try it or anything, but it's a pretty nice place to stop with people when it's close to home, like the one by me.

It's at most 10 minutes away, and I haven't had one of those in over a year, so I think it'll be worth it :D.

almost right. you drink before, at and after the gig.

go to more hardcore punk shows. all of you.

'eh, I go to the festivals more than the smaller gigs, so all you can really get there is an $8 mid-strength beer.

Long Island Iced Tea, White Russian, and Fanta in Germany.

Energy drinks are gross, they remind me of GI parties and the urinal cakes in the bathrooms I'd clean when I was in the army D:

festivals are all about smuggling your own beer in, man. one of the best games to play is ''how many bottles/tins can you attach to yourself that remain hidden from gate security''

my record is five (i'm a noob compared to some friends), BUT with also a half metre end of a flagpole down the leg of one of my trousers. download fest security are ****ing dumb.

No point smuggling beers in when you need exactly 100 to get drunk.

I had a Heineken for the first time today.

What a boring tasting beer.

yeah, well it's not perfect but compared to festival prices, it's worth the attempt.

  • Spezi
  • Orange Crush
  • Shirley Temple

Not much of an alcohol drinker.
