Wel i thought i might start up somthing coo. dont know if it has been done before. But my three favorite FPS weapons were as is:

1.Redneck rampage - the chicken crossbow
2.Shadow Warrior - lo wangs sword (funs tuff!)
3.Duke nukem - Dukes expander ray ahahah fun stuff!

List what u want peeps...

1. Gauss Gun from Half-Life
2. Concussion Rifle from Jedi Knight
3. Crowbar from HL1
4. Lightsaber from Jedi Outcast
5. Railgun from Red Faction
 
Nothing beats a good pistol imo.

Not a FPS game, but a damn good wepaon.
 
The Cerebral Bore from Turok 2 for N64. The gun shot out little homing devices that would lock onto the enemies brain and drill into it, but of course it would only work on the intelligent creatures. :(

2. the guass gun from HL ("don't let overcharge. . . huh?":))
3. the "fish" gun thing from op4
 
mp40/45 colt (especially dual) Return to castle wolfenstein/rtcwET
OICW/GL ghost recon
any sniper rifle in any ww2 or realistic game
Dwarven Battle Sword from Rune
the spinny thing in Aliens vs Predator 2
 
Light saber in Jedi games
Manipulator - HL2
Shotgun in any game
 
Doom 3's Plasma Rifle by far
Quake 2's Hyperblaster
Red Factions Railgun
Doom 2's double barreled sawn off
 
Railgun from Red Faction kiks all the other weapons from all FPS back to the assembly line.

Maybe excepting the Redeemer :S
 
Stake gun = painkiller
Shotgun = Doom
Railgun = red faction
magnum .357 = half-life
manipulator = HL2
Assault rifle= halo
 
The Lawgiver Pistol From Dredd vs Death, lotsa ammo combinations, ragdoll + flame bullet +melting skin = :cheers:

The nano-Sword in Deus Ex (The good first Deus Ex, not the crappy second one) Especially if you had melee combat at full.

Dual Golden Eagles in Hitman - Contracts (not essentially FPS, but thats how i played it the most)

PSI-Amp in System Shock 2

Chainsaw in Doom 3.
 
1. AK47 in cs :p (yeah, boring)
2. Gauss gun in HL
3. The gun that shoots sticks in PK

probably the stake gun in PK, BFG9000 from doom(its badass, don't deny), and the sword from MGS2. that shit's fun, yo.
 
the two weapons they need to bring back to unreal tournament: the pistol and the razor guns!

plz bring them back!

Now I know its probally going to rock, but how can you say the manipulator is your fav weapon if you've never actually used it? :)
 
Or the Laptop gun :)

There's more quality, innovative weapons in Perfect Dark than in any other shooter I can think of.

(sits and waits for Perfect Dark 2 on XBox 2 - it won't get any better than this :) )
 
Oops, Strangelove was a mod for UT, not UT2K3 or UT2K4... though, there is supposedly a new version being made.
 
Hmm... either the most interesting bomb in the world from MDK - sheer comic value - or the Hampton Carbine from NOLF. It has a very satisfying feel to it.

The Spear Gun from AvP2 (There is something about shooting spears at near light speed velocity). The Netgun is nice too.

The Banana from NOLF 2. I also liked the AK47 with phosfor rounds from the same game.

The crossbow from Wasteland (BF1942 mod)

The Grenade Launcher from Natural Selection.

...and the peasant from medievil. Hey, theyre used as weapons are they not? FREAR MY MIGHTY PEASANT! he will crush your 2,000 man army with one strike from his UBER peasant fork-thing!

I agree with that completely. Perfect Dark's weapons were before it's time. There are so many that I can't pick a favorite.

The Shark Gun in Armed and Dangerous. Also, the one in that game where you bolt yourself into the ground, and turn the world upside down.

This weapon line up should be in a FSP...for me these are the most thrilling weapons to grace the FSP zone. Starting in the order u should collect them thru the pace of the game


DD4 Destoryer Pistol. Goldeneye. Perfection

Shotgun. Doom 1. the reload time was PERFECT

MP5. Half Life. Perfection of the MP5 this time

Microwave Gun. Soilder Of Fortune. jus so cool since u could hold down the button as fry them aslong as u want

Rail Gun. Quake 3. this required skillz and i some how managed to get some

Rockect luancher QUake 3. Most used weapon ever!

Sniper Rifle in UT. Greatest Snpier Rifle ever!

and finally the Halo gernades!
