2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail
* A must-see classic.

3. Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime)
* This movie evoked genuine feelings in me, one of the few movies that have done this.

Pfft, you people need to watch more movies.

If you think the ****ing matrix is the pinical of movie making you need to shoot yourself in the eye.

Does no-one but me like Judge Dredd?

I found it to be an excedingly clever film, very tongue in cheek, with a good plot, good sequences, and Sylvester Stallon playing it for laughs (I think, but the script was very tongue in cheek)

Try it, you just might like it :)

Man so many to list i will just list a few

The Big Lebowski
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Anything made by Quentin Tarantino
Anything made by Kevin Smith
Anything made by Guy Ritchie
and a recent fav has to be Punch Drunk Love

and that is like 5 percent of my fav movies...

1st = Mystery Science Theater 3000: the movie
..and in no particular order:
Signs
The Matrix + the fight/car chase sequences from Reloaded
Alien + Aliens
...and many more.

I know a lot of people didn't enjoy Matrix 2 that much, but you need to remember that it is only half a movie, so stuff won't make too much sense until the next one ties things up.

Hmm, let's see...

The Sixth Sense
Gladiator
Signs
and, umm...The Land Before Time (I'm not kidding)
and Ghostbusters (the one with the marshmallow man...was that the first or second one?)

Equilibrium (blows matrix away)
The Outsiders
Good fellas
Catch me if you can
Adult movie marathon
Matrix (just first one)

I forgot signs too, thats a friggen scary movie.

wtf?! signs isn't scary.
If you want a scary movie, then watch the Exorcist or the Shining.

edit: and i'll have to add Memento and 12 Angry Men to my list.

Yeah hes right.

EDIT: But the first time i saw it, i was upstate in the country, and it was fairly scary.

Contact – Incredibly intelligent movie written by Carl Sagan. Religion vs. science at it’s best.

Punch-Drunk Love – I felt so emotionally attached when watching this movie. For instance, when he gets in trouble for beating the shit out of the bathroom, you almost feel as in an awkward and embarrassing spot as he must feel. And, “I have so much strength in me..” is brilliant!

Lord of the Rings – The first one is probably my favorite, but chosen so almost painfully. I’m a sucker for an epic, which is something the second one lacks, despite its grand nature.

Some fun movies I like are Ghostbusters (both), Beatlejuice, Monsters Inc. and Ice Age.
