Favorite TF2 Class

If we've had a poll on this (which I expect we have) it was a) some time ago and b) probably right after TF2 came out anyway, and I know my personal favorites have changed since.

Anyway, what's your single most favorite class? Feel free to post one or two runners-up.

I play all of the classes a lot, except for Sniper and Spy, but I'd say my favorite is probably Demoman. Once you get good with the grenades, you can hurt people almost as quickly as a Soldier and the mines are excellent. Plus there's nothing I like more than blowing up sentries from around a corner. Runners up are Scout and Pyro (because the only thing more satisfying than killing a Heavy with a bat is lighting half of the other team on fire and watching them burn).

My favorite has to be Soldier. Leading a team into a point with a medic is one of the best feeling you can get from TF2. Running through baddie after baddie with blood and body parts flying everywhere is awesome.

Runner-up: Demoman and Pyro for the reason Ennui already stated.

Medic would have to be my favourite, the feeling of satisfaction I get out of healing and ubering my team mates is great. Pyro and Demoman are a lot of fun as well.

Spy is my favorite, hasn't changed much, except that I have gotten a lot better at it. I usually play video games sneakily so the spy fits my game style. I would have fun sneaking up behind people and stabbing em in the back in CSS, the spy makes it that much easier.

Favorite goes to Soldier. Nothing like blowing the shit out of everything and being able to get the hell away when things don't look good.

But Spy is a close number 2. He's just too useful to not play every once and a while.

I've also started playing Soldier a bit more, and it's surprisingly easier than I first thought.

Heavy is my favourite, but I like using all the classes.

I like Sniper because it's one of the classes where you need a larger amount of skill to succeed, altho I play best as Medic or Engineer.

Actually I do have a medic preference.

One (if not the best) of the deadliest melee weapon, some decent speed and regen abilities.

Plus I love showing off my ability to uber several people at once with a single charge

Medic because he can still be successful as a support class at the front lines and can really make a difference in the turnout of a game. When people are actually coordinating their efforts, it's very satisfying to be able to keep another person alive through sustained fire while not dying yourself.

I'm heartened by the Sniper's minority on this poll. I'm pretty sure if there's any one class that I hate with all of my being, it's snipers.

I do enjoy being all classes, each suits a different scenario, but with the lag I have at the minute, no chance of playing even a tiny 8 man game without a slight 100ping to ruin it.

is my preferred list of classes in order of preference but i'll play whatever the team needs me to im getting fairly good with all the classes although i'm still better with pyro/demo than i am the others

tbh i love them all. I enjoy honing my gaming skills on TF2 because the class system on offer is one of unique breadth and depth. I love all their soundbites, i can't wait for more!

One thing, I don't like being the scout on full 12vs12 20s spawn servers on a small map like 2fort, your forever in silicone hell!

Why not with medic? I thought would be one of the easiest, just healing people.

As default I play Pyro as its noob friendly imo. The nerfs on the demo and soldier didn't help me too much there either but I usually die as those classes before I run out of ammo anyway.

I'm worst at Spy and Engineer i guess.
