Favorite Theme Songs

You guys have a theme song that you'll never forget? You don't see much of this these days, but when I was a child, every show had an epic theme song, like with lyrics and professional musicians.

Three that come to mind are -

Sanford and Son
The Jeffersons
The Dukes of Hazard

I had built a larger cage so my lizard can climb up to the ceiling if he wants, and suddenly I started singing The Jeffersons theme song.

I guess my favorite is Sanford and Son. I've had that tune stuck in my head for more than 25 years.

One show I've been watching recently is Southland. It's got a fantastic theme song, but in reality, it's just a short segment of a song that's been around for decades, and wasn't created for the show.
