I watched the pilot ..thought it was ok but then missed the first episode ..after that I tried a few times but didnt know what was going on so ...I dont watch it ..too much of a commitment with too little a pay off

Wow, Desperate Housewives..... how can you even complain about Sliders? Besides, the show was really good in the first couple seasons, and it was a cool idea, with lots of variety, unlike some shows, which really kept it fresh

Ironically that's one of the reasons why I started watching it when I was young. It was a great show to watch as a 12 year old.

I used to wath Due South as a kid as well. And Trailer Park Boys is quickly growing to be one of my favorites too, but I think Lost edges it out as my current favorite.

that song always sent chills down my spine ...I never understood why Hobo left in the end of each episode ..I mean he had the undying thanks of the people he saved and probably all the kibble and bits he could eat ..why would he keep roaming?

I've never watched it until I had in my possession the DVD collection. It's not THAT good, it's just entertaining and funny... something you get into.

Now, after reconsideration I'd most likely say 24 and Lost.

Half-agreed.

I never cared for Seinfeld either, but Friends? Detest it. It was painful to see most of my friends get so into it and then quote it non-stop. It was even worse when you were enjoying a good drunken conversation and the one of your buds says "HEY REMEMBER THAT EPISODE OF FRIENDS", promptly barring you from any future dialogue.
