Greg Coomer had Reflect World turned on..not Reflect All...so you don't see the helicopter.

i have to agree that this is my favorite. it is by far the coolest screenshot ive ever seen. think about it, what other shot captures such an interesting vignette? the second you see it you get so much information and make a story to go along with it. the ability valve has for being able to tell a story through unspoken means such as this is amazing.

I have to agree with this one...if that is how the striders look up close on their enormous sheer size and scale in the real game to your person, I am going to shit my pants. In the strider video they dont look that big, but in that picture we are in serious trouble if we have to go against one of those, my advice would be to keep your distance as much as possible.

According to Greg coomer in the info from valve thread, he had choosen the "reflect world" instead of the "reflect all" option.

That first shot has got some pretty bad gfx bugs (look where the pier meets the water), i think its a very old shot. Second shot is nice though.

I really like this one screen where you see an alien and a man standing next to eacht other
Left, you see this alien from HL1, full of bumpmapping and shadows... and right, there is a black man, pointing at the alien with his finger.... he looks so great, i really like the look on his face... this just displays the beaty of HL2... realistic facial animation, greate graphics.... and aliens.. ihihihihihiihii

Notice the Combine soldier and the Striders both have the same logo on them (on strider's rooftop and on Combine's back pack).
