I second that...I be a heave metal rocking guitarist myself, and I believe that you need alot of skilll to pull off the way some of the metal and heavy rock band play there instruments.
Metallica are my fav's (despite what ppl think of em)

People around me say I have a strangely wide music taste, and they're right.
I listen to almost every type of music there is. If a song in a particular genre is good, I like it.

But at the moment I am exploring ambient music particularly, especially the works of Brian Eno and Harold Budd.

1930's jazz, now that is brilliant.

Jazz is absolutely fantastic, but I'm not so hot on the '30s. I prefer the more '50s-'60s era. Although Charlie Parker was brilliant.
