Haha, man, this smells like cash cow over huge distances. Cool graphics in the beginning though, or is that a CG rendered sequence? You have no idea these days with games like Doom 3and Far Cry, hehe.

Okay, watched through the thing and the graphics look alot like SWG,and the game doesn't seem to be that good at all.

It is just like every other fighting game that has ever shown its face on the market.
The problem with the genre in my opinion is that developers never seem to kick it up a notch and expand fighting games, generally there all the same.

Anywho, I'm convinced that Soul Calibur 2 is the only fighting game anyone would ever need. Unless this game gets consistent 100% scores, I'm going to forget about it.

well the cg graphics were nice but the in game graphics dont even compare to pc games... pc games will always jsut domiante the consoles in terms of graphics... anyways i am a huge fan of fight club movie and all i know is that that instead of cg they shuold have just used clips from the movie, cause that would have been way sweeter..

I assure you they aren't that bad at the moment, that was an E3 build being shown off. They have progressed infinantly since then. I really can't say much, but the graphics have had MAJOR overhauls since then.

As for the models and voices, VU didn't lisence the actors likeness, they only own the rights to the movie. Therefore, the characters can't look too similar, nor sound too similar to the actual actors in the movie.

Give this one a rent, I assure you its better then it looks

Anyway, Tyler Durden's voice made me puke. The game looks interesting, though, I suppose. Fighting games aren't my thing, and it seems to me like they are only selling it on the trailer and the fact that its based on one of the best movies of all time. Doesn't look promising.

Eh ... a fighting game based on Fight Club kinda misses 90% of the movie. I guess it can be good if they go for the brutally realistic fights of the movie, but there's really no way they can make a fighting game live up to the movie (or come anywhere close).

BTW: The guy with the bitch tits it great, I gotta rent the game just for that character.

They could have made such a cool Fight Club game and they f*cked it up. Fighting is only a tiny part of what Fight Club actually is! Why not have missions where you go wreck sports cars or franchise coffee shops like they do in the movie?!?! Get to play one of the dudes repelling off that office building after lighting it on fire! What about a minigame where you get to bike around the Paper St. house on a tricycle like Tyler Durden!

This game epitomizes the phrase "missed oppurtunity."

It is like gritty street fighting. Blood can be disabled if needed (if thats what you mean by cleaner).
I've never played tekken, I'm not much a fighter fan at all. Fight club is quite enjoyable however. Like I said, give it a rent at least.
