Film into digital?

Is there a way to physically take pictures, and make them digital files on your computer as if they were a digital picture? If not, whats the closest I can get to something like that?

Yes. It is called scanning.

Or if you still have the negatives, take those to lets just say Walgreens, and they can put them on CD.

Your next best bet is to try drawing the pictures in paint, and then save them as a BMP.

Scanners can scan at a very high resolution you know.

What you are basically thinking of is impossible, photographs aren't some magical piece of paper that you can plug in to your computer or something It's just a piece of paper with color on it, the only way to get it on a computer is to scan it.

Exactly. The pics still come out at the normal 6x4 or 4x6 picture quality.. Just on CDs.
