Hey guys. I'm an aspiring film maker with a project and I'm looking for talented volunteers.
I am an amateur filmmaker working on an internet pilot for a show. The initial pilot will be produced using the Half-Life 2 engine and released free on the net.
This will be an extremely exciting project to work on, perhaps a little different than most, and the amount of work I have put into it already is testament to the fact that it will get completed. The pilot script has been completed with storyboard, a summary of all 10 episodes for season 1, a checklist for all work that needs to be done, and I’ve hired somebody to work on the website which should be finished shortly. I hope to make film making my career, and completing this project is the first step. You can’t expect a salary, or fame, but you can expect to gain some experience and hopefully have some fun (I’m personally looking foreword to watching the show).
But onto more fun stuff. The story takes place in a futuristic empire (in a galaxy far, far away
which is on the verge of collapse. Civil war has broken out, and everybody is looking to pick up the scraps. It revolves around multiple characters, each with their own personal story, each intertwining though with overall epic plot. The style and tone of the show will be a kind of Starcraft meets Band of Brothers meets Dune. Political intrigue in a science fiction universe, but focusing on the personal stories of each of the characters involved.
