So mine start up next week. What classes do you guys have or had finals for this semester?

ENCE201 - Engineering Info Processing II
ENCE305 - Fluid Mechanics - probably my most important class...last weedout class to get through.
ENCE310 - Intro to Environmental Engineering
ENCE353 - Structural Analysis
MATH461 - Linear Algebra for Engineers

Finals this year are going to be FUN!!

The world does not revolve around America. High school doesn't end till June in Canada.

Am I trying to express some sort of supremacy here? There's a reason I said "have or had." And I'm not talking about high school.

Our system isn't similar to the American, but these are the exams I have until the semester is over:

German Cultural Studies (Oral): 4/5
German Spoken Language Understanding (Oral): 14/5
German Written Language Understanding (Written): 26/5
German Literature (Oral): 1/6

the world does not revolve around YOU!!! Not everyone is in school. :(

Good luck with those, man. I'd love to learn German someday, time permitting.

****ING: linear alg (no worries), stat for scientists and engineers and some reason computer science majors have to take it too (i'm ****ed), jap (i'm good), compsci (i'm good).

Thankfully I've had no exams this year (just tons of coursework), and I'm making sure I have no exams next year too.
Uni without exams is perfect.

Haha, linear algebra sucks. It's all the abstract shit that mathematicians love and engineers loathe. Are you a slave to UMD as well?

Linear alg is pussy shit of math beyond calc. I'm at UMBC.
Figures right about now the stat teacher tells us we're using some ****ing graduate level text. I skipped her lectures, damn knockout gas of a lecture anyways.

Tomorrow I have physics. Tuesday I have Great Theoretical Ideas of Computer Science. Thursday I have Linear Algebra. Next Tuesday I have Fundamental Data Structures and Algorithms.

Failure all around.

Nice...out of curiosity, are you using the Lay book for Linear Alg? It's what we've got and the dude is teaching our class too, I haven't gone in a week, though.

We used that one in our first year for Algebra as well. It's a good book, but over half the book I'd already seen in high school.

I already got a new algebra course this semester. My courses for this semester (first three are electronic engineering courses, last three are programming):

Applied discrete algebra
Digital electronics and processors
System theory and regulating technique
Databases
Object oriented programming
Computer supported problem solving

I guess that's how they'd be called in English.

I just finished my last piece of coursework for this year! :O
I don't have exams. Year 3 here we come D:

I only have one final this year, in my required Government course. Yay, senior year....

I do however still have a senior design project due... where we design an entire chemical plant. I was in the computer lab from noon to 9:45 pm today without a break, plugging numbers into Aspen and changing a bunch of spreadsheets and trying to find government tax breaks for making biofuels. Tomorrow will probably be an even longer day. Ugh.

No exams this semester, only one paper to write as a final (an outline of symphonic works from Haydn to present time); graduating on Saturday!!!

Yea that's why I was saying that, I don't think he knew college exams are ended/ending.

I actually just got done with my mid-term exams. Finals aren't until June.

All you "semester" jack knobs and suck it.

Finals are:

Music Theory, Computer Science, a saxophone jury, and a piano proficiency exam.

THANK ****ING GOD
I just got back from my last exam, so it's officially summer for me! It has been a shitty few weeks. I had exams in History (US in WW2), Computer Science (Java/Javascript), my Health/Fitness class, and Russian literature, as well as final papers in English and Russian. History didn't go too well, Russian went fantastically and CS and Health both went swimmingly. It's been a rough semester though, thank god it's over.

Thankfully I've had no exams this year (just tons of coursework), and I'm making sure I have no exams next year too.

How is it you manage to procure such a luxury?

I have one exam and two term papers, due in a month and half's time.

/edit Oh, and a movie about ninja postmen.

Only got two exams before I am totally done with uni. One this wednesday concerning the Middle East; I will be answering the following two questions:

Critically examine the argument that political life in Turkey is too volatile for the country to be granted permission to join the EU.

To what extent is it accurate to label Iraq as a militarist state?

Then a week today I have my last ever exam on the Modern American Presidency, not too sure what topics are in that :(

Finally on the 12th May I hand in my dissertation which dealt with the topic of Chinese Internet Censorship.

After that it is time to find a job :O

IT341 cisco crap
IT469 systems design
IT207 php
IT223 information security

This week and next :/

Extreme module choices. Since I do Creative and Professional writing it's mostly coursework anyway, but some modules I could have picked had exams, I just chose not to pick them.

Did three exams today, two on Wednesday and I'm done!

:D

Core Engineering 1 - Paper A
Core Engineering 1 - Paper B
Engineering Mechanics: Core Engineering 2
Core Engineering 1 - Paper C
Materials and Manufacturing: Core Engineering 2
Engineering Mathematics B
Electronics for Engineers: Core Engineering 2

All pretty close together too, which sucks.

3 Chemistry exams, a maths exam on linear algebra and a maths programming exam.

The programming is the only one I feel confident with because it's so ridiculous easy (open book).

I keep seeing this thread, and I keep thinking it says 'virgin exams!!' or 'anal exams!!'

also: ha ha, you have school work.
