The site that had the main link to all the discs whole has been shut down, the packed files (disc 1-4) on filefront have also gone, but have been replaced by the single files, i guess its easier to find the ones that are good now:

I don't mind getting the individual tracks if i have to, but how do I implement them into the pc version of the game?

You guys forgetting about FF VI? VI was freakin incredible, even if it was still 2d.

FF VI was awesome. I think VI, VII and VIII were the best in the series, ever since 9 the series has gone down in quality IMO. XII looks good though.

Eh... if you think about it 6 and 7 were reallllly similar... you just have to thinmk hard. Both were my favourite games of the series and so far to me have gone unmatched... 8 was good for the graphics but I couldnt get into the story,


but yes, 12 looks like its going to pick up the ball that 9-11 dropped (8-11 to me)

VI and VII are by far my 2 favorite FF games. VI's battle system is my favorite, and the characters are excellent. VII is a gem when it comes to story, and the materia system is so much fun. I actually have VII running in the background right now with the sector 7 music playing.

I can't wait for the movie, it looks so badass. But...Cloud+tight turtle neck sweaters, i just dunno man. Oh well it's still gonna be a cool movie.

any word on the release date? I mean the U.S. release, because as far as i can tell it's gonna be out in Japan before it is out in the U.S., being made in japan and all.

I think the story in FFVII beats any of the other FF games and most other games out there. The materia system is great. The battle system is good...and each player has their own unique setups it seems. My friend used a materia setup that can't be beaten unless he gets killed in 1 hit (which Ruby, Emerald, and most guys in the game can't do). He beat Ruby Weapon with it. It's really fun just making your own materia setups and see how much cool stuff you can do.

EDIT: FFVI was fun, but not nearly as fun or engrossing as FFVII. FFVI is my 2nd favorite. FFX my 3rd...simply because I whooped that game's ass. I went through the entire sphere grid with everyone (In case you're wondering...I have 104 hours on my game - I figured out a trick to leveling fast late game), and I can kill the 10 million life guy quite easily. One thing I liked about FFX is how you can break 9999 for HP and damage with the right equipment....that was cool.
