The last decent Square game I played was Final Fantasy X and X-2 and they were a joke next to 7, 8, 9 - etc. Japanese game development, sans what Hideo does, is so ****ing far behind.

This is of course barring several hand-held titles and the Kingdom Hearts franchises which remain relatively un-tentacle raped
