Finally! A new legacy of Operation Flash Point!

www.operationflashpoint2.com ..That site says it all. A whole new military simulation, new offical mods coming out. ALL that stuff. When that very awesome game comes out. I have OFP,a great game in my opinion."The best". I can't wait.

OFP had some serious technical flaws, but anyway:

This seems... odd...
They say its a true sequel. But obviously its not. Fictional conflicts in real world locations? That's not OFP at all.
And they could have expanded the feature list a little bit, since that is 90% OFP, and I want to hear about OFP2

OFP was an awesome game, but lacked horribly in the Multiplayer aspect. You had to wait till a game ended to join the server. No joining in the middle of a game. Games last how long? hour.. 30 minutes.. varies..

But, the one player was well worth what I paid. I played the whole thing through. I loved being able to pick a direction and just WALK, or drive, go anywhere on the island... Steal a jeep from the commies.. It's just good fun..

That wasnt much of a problem (I played OFP MP for a long time, was even in a clan), the problem was that we werent able to observe. Some of the later maps improved that though, making you a seagull when you died, so you could fly around (and bother players )...
If one was able to join any server and just watch (the rest of the MP would be exactly the same) it would have been alot better... But it was kind of like HL. Extremely poor netcode at release (basicly unsupported). Then it got a little better (especially with the expansions). Never reached CS status though

Hopefully OFP2 will fix all these issues.
