Well heres a story you don't hear everyday,
I was really into Half Life 2 during its prerelease and release at which I bought the game the first day it came out. I was all ready for it, rocking a AMD 2800+ with a 9700 Pro started playing it on high settings and loving it......until Ravenholm, I beat Ravenholm and then my computer died causing me to reformat and forgetting to back up my saved games. Well I figured thats okay Ill just cheat and skip forward to Ravenholm chapter but after I get my computer up and running again a year and so go by and I havent began playing where I left off. So a few days ago I see my Gman Half-Life 2 box sitting on my box and decide to finally play it where I left off. And now instead of a 2800+ and a 9700 Pro I have a 64 3200+ and 7600 GT and I looks even better now. But anyways I didnt realize what I have been missing this whole time. I felt at the time that the game was so awsome I didn't want to finish such a good thing LOL! Well what a stupid theory and Im glad I finally finished it. Awsome game. I was even pretty active on these forums a long time ago but have moved on since I felt like I shouldnt be allowed on these forums for not beating the game. Well Im back and it sure feels good to be done with it.
