A new version of the Firefox browser, Version 1.07, has been released. This is a security update, and as such has no new features. It is recommended that all Firefox users update to this version so that their Internet browsing remains as secure as possible.

:D

Bleh, I won't bother.

Anybody else notice that, they just released a new version toting that it's "more secure", about the same time that people start claiming that Firefox is less secure than IE?

The gap between version numbers was large enough to warrent a new version.

Merely becuase I'm a slack prick at the moment can we find out exactly what this security fix was?

I use deer park alpha 2 on my own pc, but the other family pc uses the normal firefox releases. The only reason I don't use Firefox Beta 1.5 is because of the poor theme and extension support. Will be ok in a week or two when all the extension and theme developers start to make there themes for the newest version.
