Available here.

I've been using it all night and I like it a lot. The look is cleaner, and the new features are subtle but very welcome. Downloads continuing when you restart Firefox is particularly welcome, won't have to rely on torrents so much now. The option to save your current tabs when you quit is handy too.

Warning: Many extensions and nearly all themes are not compatible. This will be amended soon though, and the default theme is nice and stylish anyway.

Oooh nice, I've been using Beta5 but I'll upgrade to this now. Hopefully we'll start seeing more addon-compatability going now that it's out of Beta and into Release Candidates.

In firefox 2, It was in the options as far as I remember. I know it had the feature though because I'd been using it for over a year. Even if firefox crashed, when you restarted it, it would open up all your tabs, and even remember what you had typed - for example if I was in the middle of typing this post here.

In firefox 3, I do not see an option so it may be a permanent feature now. If you don't want your old tabs to open up - just close them.

EDIT:

Ok I see it now.

go into Tools/Options/Main/

'Startup'. 'When firefox starts':

(Choices in drop down box)
- Show My Windows and tabs from last time
- Show a blank page
- Show my home page

Really, how do you do that?
It's under the Main tab in Options, where it says 'When Firefox starts', choose 'Show my windows and tabs from last time'. Very handy option, imo.

EDIT: Lol, a minute too slow.

Thanks guys, it's alot easier than having to end it in Task Manager to get it to remember

How it's implemented in Firefox 3 is MUCH, MUCH better though. In Firefox 2, it either loads your old tabs all the time (while 90% of the time I don't want that) or it doesn't, even when it would be convenient. In Firefox 3, it asks you on closing whether or not you want to save your tabs for the next time.

Firefox 3 is basically awesome. But of all features, the new location bar stands out for me. I needed the story about the guy who regrew his finger, so I typed in 'finger' in it and it gave me all sites that had 'finger' in the URL or title that I visited, and I got the one I wanted. It works with multiple words too, I wanted the forum topic on SomethingAwful about Southpark so I typed in 'some south' and it found it. It actually stores the phrases you use and learns from them to try to give you the most relevant search results. It really changed the way I browse. The only downside is that it's never been easier for someone to find the naughty sites you visit, and trust me that you'll have several instances of 'penis' in the search results even when none of those are porn sites :p (6 hits of mine are from hl2.net, wtf hl2.net?)

The links in the address bar are blue, they used to be green in the last beta versions.

The only thing I noticed different from the beta was the green back/forward arrows look darker/glossier. I was just starting to like that fisher-price green button too. Easier to find out of the corner of my eye.

And the links in my address bar are black, and were black before. I think the thing is that FF3 supports your desktop theme colors. Either that or FF3 uses the same colors as my desktop by coincidence. I see no other way to explain why you had green and blue addresses DigiQ8

I don't see any blue font. FF3 looks slicker, though. Just waiting for adblock to be updated.

Adblock plus seems to be working fine. I have it installed, if thats what you mean.

it's a lot better on OS X.....much better than firefox 2 on os x, the interface feels a lot faster.

hmm weird

yeah, mine looks just like that sea, but a little darker grey colored. It's colored to match your theme now.
