Hey, no tabs. I'll have to install something or other.

/me clicks Firefox

Holy shit, tabs out of the box!
You're obviously using an ancient version of IE. IE has tabbed browsing.

lier.

I didnt find either of my two most used extension on that site.
go home.

For some reason firefox will often be taking up 2 or 3 hundred megs of ram. If I ctrl-alt-delte there are like 12 firefox processes up and running even after firefox is closed.

If FF wasn't as unstable (praise sessionsaver) as a meth-head in a knife shop, I'd herald it as the best damn thing in a long time. Still, it beats IE.

Some of those are true but some of those 'myths' are hillarious. And obviously they can be proved incorrect. I don't think many people actually believe some of the myths.

As for speed between FF and IE. On my system when I had both open and pasted a web address in the bar in IE first then FF. They took about the same amount of time to finish loading the entire page. FF will display it as it gets it but IE seems to wait to display it until it has most of the page.

I can browse much quicker with FF than IE. For example, FF will have part of a page displayed and I can quickly click the link I want but with IE I have to wait til it gets more data before it will display it.

And you still will pick up more junk with IE than with Firefox just because of market share and it is targeting IE. Obviously you get stuff with Firefox as well and you are not immune. Still run AV and AntiSpyware etc.

I'll have to give Opera a try again. Last time I used it, it didn't load some websites I visit frequently correctly.

When life gives you lemons, throw a lemon party.

When life gives you AIDS, make lemonAIDS.

Opera is the best browser. - God. God said this when he was giving the commandments but since they forgot to put it down...they were casted 40 years of the desert.

All hail OPERA!

Noob :p

Also, that picture is... gah. Even if it is "censored" everybody on the internet knows the original. If you ask me, you're risking a ban by posting it.

LOL WTF? That's like saying posting a picture of a clothed woman is banworthy cause people know what a naked woman looks like.

No, it's not. But the picture is priceless, where'd it come from

For every good thing out there, you will have fanboys claiming it's perfection.
What IE doesn't have is mouse gestures
Neither dose FireFox without an extention.. and guess what, you can download a plug-in for IE that gives you mouse gestures.
Good job not even bothering to Google. :|

I like firefox because it makes me feel cool and unique, IE doesnt.

pwnd.

Opera pwns everything and gives you the ability to watch Firefox and IE users battle it out while you just sit back laughing.

I use both opera and firefox (simultaneously) due to Opera's download accelerator, but I use mostly firefox because that's where all my extensions are.

The Free Download Manager is the best DL manager ever. Intregates right into Firefox, Opera, and IE. And anything over 2gigs I just use DAP.
It's great because You could unplug your computer while your download and continue it with no corruption. Something I hate with Opera is if I exit out of it the download gets corrupt.

I also hate how Opera's, Firefox's, and IE's downloaders arn't very streamlined. I like being able to have my taskbar completely free while downloading something. Free Download Manager does this perfectly as an icon in the bottom right of your screen. It gives you a graphical representation of what has been downloaded(It uses multiple streams when possible and will show you what stream has downloaded what so far). Its light on the resources and everything. Its sooo great.
