I just updated my firefox and now one of my websites won't open up. I keep getting the message:

"Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at status.rely.net."

It's been doing this for 2 days now, which i find hard to believe that this website would be down for two days. The website is forums.vwvortex.com and it's one of the largest forums (according to big-boards.com it's #10) on the internet.

What's going on?

I just pasted the link into IE using my work's connection, and it worked fine. Perhaps log in with IE and post some FF feedback to the site?

It doesn't work with IE either. It just goes to the yahoo search for 'forums.vwvortex.com' and if i click on vwvortex from there, then i get a 'Page cannot be displayed' error.

i just downloaded opera 8.5 and it wont open the site either. What the heck is going on.

argh! I disabled my ethernet and went wireless and connected to somebody's router and the page worked for about 4 minutes, then i get a 'your connection to the server has been reset' and i click refresh and then i got the same 'firefox is unable to connect' message.

I don't understand.

try going into tools->options->privacy->cookies->exceptions->allow

Could also be that the sites IP changed and your ISP hasnt updated their DNS yet.
;)
