The first Left 4 Dead TV Spot, part of Valve's $10 million marketing campaign for the game has been made public by Doug Lombardi. Check it out right here.

But no Valve logo? :| :| :| **** you EA.
 
I dont like that valve have a little minimal spot for theyr logo,they should have it all big and the EA logo smaller that the copirights c sign

Also, in case anyone is wondering the song is "Grounds for Divorce" by Elbow, damn I love that song.

Wow, thats not the kind of trailer id expect to see to a horror zombie game... WHICH IS WHY IT PWNS!

It kinda reminded me a of a GTA trailer, seemed kinda ghetto badass with that beat... awesome, 10/10

Valve deleted store page for old L4D teaser, but it's still available on content servers.

Yea, that's probably why they get to put their ugly smug logo on it.

Publishers usually handle marketing, production (box, CD), distribution, and all the dirty stuff (accounting, legal). Valve does all the hard, real work. You know, stuff EA doesn't know how to.
 
Bah, Valve shoulda told EA to stuff themselves and done all the marketing themselves. They can afford to, unlike most devs.
 
That was great. I downloaded the 1080p version and it looked fantastic.

I know Valve have talked about the characters of L4D, similar to the characters of TF2, but this was the first time I really felt that they were characters.
 
EA = money
Valve = good games

good games + money = worldwide success.

Seems fine to me.
 
It seems almost cool to hate EA now, and if I'm honest they haven't been too bad as of late. In the end of the day they aren't going to effect Valve in anyway, in fact they will probably make them even more mainstream (which seems that’s what they are trying to do with L4D) Anyway, buy your game on Steam and it won't have the ghastly EA logo. :p
 
We are complaining because EA are the ****ing hogs that slap their big label right at the beginning when it's clearly Valve's game and they did all the hard work.
