i think u need some better ( if u had ani in the first place ) reference pics. i know this is ur first model, looks quite good. i think uve got the basic techniques down. try lookin for tuts on guns, which have matchin or similar parts, then 'lift' the tut info and use it in ur own model.

My advice for you would be not to use Splines, which I think you have from looking at the model...and get some more referance images...

It's alot better than my first model....

/me has a cold shiver at thought..

keep trying though :p

Thats a Mp5k not Mp5 PDW, but i could be mistaken, as PDW stands for personal defence weapon i guess it is a personal defence weapon :p.

Great start for a noob modeller, but yes like random.hero said reference reference research and more reference.

Fixed some vital stuff :)

I dont wanna do anything more on it now, and yes it is an MP5k PDW (I checked HK)

You need to work on your mesh flow. You can't just slap extruded splines together and expect the model to look nice. Look where the rear handle meets the body and where the front handle is just stuck to the bottom of that cylinder. Keep in mind when you're modeling that the parts need to flow together nicely and smoothly.

Right now I wouldn't worry about references to get it accurate. You need to focus on learning good techniques and habits before you worry about making a model look like a specific object. Also, stay away from splines for now. They can come in handy later, but you're overusing them on everything and it is very obvious.

meh i think its cool.....mostly cus i dont know how to make models
