Hello again :D

I have decided that i am going to start modelling, what do you guys think the best model would be to start with?

a knife if you want to make a weapon. but i would advise to just make tutorial models first. people always dive into modelling too fast and try to make fairly complex models as their first model.

try this 1 man :borg:
;)

yea... because that's not complicated at all at all

If you want to get started you should find some tutorials on how the different tools work.

I suggest reading up on these.

- Primitives (basicly the same in most good 3d applications)
- Poly Editing/Mesh Editing (mostly used in big applications)
- Splines

Take close note on how to create lines in a allready created poly, welding and surface editing.

When you feel you understand how the tools work you should start on something easy without using a tutorial. Try 2 - 3 times without a tutorial to make your mind think about how to solve your current problem. A tutorial is easy til you dont follow it anymore, meaning when you turn it off you find out how much you actually didnt learn.

After 2 - 3 tries do a simple tutorial, this way you will see the answeres to all those mistakes you did. This way you learn what you did wrong, not what you didnt do at all.

GOOD LUCK! :bounce:
