If you play Daggerfall you can choose to be from Skyrim, which makes you a Nord. It doesn't show any place names though.

And I hate how Todd Howard pronounces it "Sky Rim" instead of "Skih Rim".

I got a copy of Game Informer (my brother who just moved out has a subscription, and this last one was sent to his old address here) and it wasn't the Skyrim one. Idunno, maybe hes like a month behind or something, but I was upset, because this is the only issue of GI I've actually wanted in years.

I read a lot about it and it seems they're trying to make it cater for replay value.
However their reasoning behind allowing level scaling isn't just.

Well, at least the GI article confirmed the faces have been vastly improved.

I believe the GI article stated that "Bethesda hired far more voice actors to keep the repartee fresh." Also, new conversation system apparently in place, there is no longer a "zoomed in" view, and NPCs will perform other actions while speaking with you. In cities, you can perform activities such as mining, cooking, farming, woodcutting. Hopefully there is more and they have found ways to make these activities somewhat interesting.

Also, merely over-hearing certain conversations can open up new paths to explore (ie quests I take it).
