First Ultraviolet pic!

Sounds like underworld except vampire vs humans, and firefly/fifth element where instead of a karate girl they protect a boy. When are writers ever going to stop rehashing old plots? "a vampire-like disease (Hemophagia), giving them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence," expect lots of Matrix-esque fights.*sigh* The only movie i've heard of that looks REALLY good has to be Night Watch, now THAT looks BADASS. Just check this trailer out and tell me it doesn't look amazing:

Looks like Wimmer's kept with that Equilibrium style to some extent, which is a very good thing. The bodies in the background tell me it'll have some very stylish and cool fight scenes, knowing him.
 
Equilibrium, that's what I was thinking. That was killing me trying to remember it. :x

Iv seen Night Watch. Its kickass cant wait for 2 and 3. Its a trilogy.

I trust this director i love Equilibrium.

if you can't find them I can send them to you

I can vouch for Nightwatch being kickass, though I think it would have helped to have been able to read the book it was based on
I am eagerly anticipating Day Watch and Dusk Watch

it isn't out in theaters, i got a DVD at an anime con with english subs

Why? I only creat threads about things i really like and i mostly reply to things i really like. So most of my posts are of excitement. :sleep:

If im not interested in something i voice the opinion but im rarely not interested in things.

I get very easly hyped and trust me sometimes i hit walls. Like with Pariah. THat game was complete shit. Out of all the games i ever bought, probably only 2-3 games i felt i made a mistake with. Out of all the movies i went to see about 4-6% I felt i shouldnt have seen.

Those are some good stats in my opinion.

Iv explained myself more deeply before, you might not have read that post. Just because i get very hyped about a game or movie that obviously isnt anything special doenst mean i get hyped the same or respect it same a serious movie or a truly great movie.

I LOVED Transporter 1 and 2, But did i like it as much as Crash? No. I Loved and sure as hell enjoyed watching Transporter 1,2 (btw like part 2 more) but when it comes to really getting attacted to a movie or classfiying it correctly, i do that very well.

Never heard of the books, So that might be why I had no idea what the hell was going on... Looks like a good LSD trip.
 
Well, it does look rather crappy, but if it's directed by the guy behind Equilibrium, I'll keep an open mind. Equilibrium was the shit.
 
Night watch was out in the cinemas in October. It is available to buy/rent in February.
