I don't think it's fake. Unlike many of the people who claim to already have the Xbox 360, this kid has pictures that seem to be legitimate. Too bad he isn't really supposed to show it. I'm jealous right now. His dad's going to get into a lot of trouble. You can even see his serial number. If I had an Xbox 360, I would keep it secret.

Or he might cost his father's new job. This kid is a Playstation fan and he's saying good things about the Xbox 360.

It's not that bad. I think the Playstation 3 looks better, but it's the games that define a console.
 
Wow, what a dumbass kid. I hope that kid comes home and finds all of his stuff in a box outside of his house.
 
Maybe he doesn't like his step dad and thought it was the best way to get at him. It's possible...

Either way, however much I don't like the design of the 360, that is pretty cool that he has actually got one... if it's real... you get what I am saying :p

In order of looks i have to say :

1. Nintendo Revolution - I am a ninty fanboy and i think it looks amazing so :P
2. Xbox 360 - Im also a Xbox fanboy and it does look ok
3. PS3. looks just as bad as the PS2 really but then again its sony.
 
If he was my son, his ass would be plastered to that wall so fast, then I would never share any cool video games with him again.

I would disown him and have him sent to a adoption clinic and tell microsoft

I doubt it for two reasons.

1) They have all those cables sticking out of the xbox360... Just doesn't make the console look appealing
2) They say the power supply is huge... M$ wouldn't put any negatives into it if it was a scheme

Oh, and a few hours after the boy posted this on GameSpot he was insisting it was all photoshopped (obviously he saw how huge the issue was... I bet he thought a few people would just like bow to him cause he felt all high and mighty... Now he's stirred up the hornet's nest though aka M$)

Must have been kinda boring not having any 360 games for it...just plain old Halo 2...
Then again, he can play around in the awesome XBOX360 menu! woooooooooooo...
And didnt it say in the article that his step dad let him take pics of him playing it? Or just let him play it.

There are still a few things that don't make sence, since when has microsoft started giving prototypes of their products to employees so that they can take them home? And for me that room looks suspicious, I mean theres no funitures, well there are two pillows but still... We must... We must investigate this :o

Yeah.

I was gonna say, I saw this in an EGM before. Some guy modded his PS2 case to look more futuristic and say PS3 on it and tried to sell it for a few grand on ebay.

I got suspicious that this was just some kid who modded his Xbox case, but the moldings look to smooth and clean.
 
Maybe Bill got on crack then started giving out the 360's, but what i don't understand is that the step-dad was a new employee, i would have thought that he would only give them out to the people that have been there o what 10 years or so? and maybe since the dad just got the job that they were only able to buy the house?
