I don't know how I have fleas. The people that lived here before me didn't have pets, and neither do we....hmmm..

If you can't seem to get rid of them then your problem might be that they're infesting your carpets. Powder the shit out of them. I once moved into a flat which had been vacant for months while fleas bred in the carpets, it's annoying as hell to have to deal with them.

Apparently the people who moved out of here went to a place that had fleas a bit. They think they may have tracked a few in. Lets hope the powder is enuf.

did you purchase any of your furniture or household items second hand? a couch or rug perhaps? if so that's the source. you need to wash every single rug, curtain, bedsheet in the house, plus every square inch ..personally I'd throw out your rugs: they're like flea hotels


also a gas can + match = simple most effective solution
 
Nope, the only thing we bought recently was a futon *they were around before hand* and a computer desk.

In one of my previous posts, I think it was the people who used to live here. They said they noticed the new place had fleas, so when they were tracking back and forth moving, they may have brought some with them. Also, a cat resides next door, and I live in a duplex.

Yes, that would happen unless you put all of the food items/dishes/etc away.
Bombs usually ALWAYS work, so if you don't use one/two... have fun with y'fleas!
